Bricolage carries a wide variety of materials geared toward the arts. Whether an arts-specific item such as a watercolor set, or a generic item that can have an arts application such scrap wood, there are always new items for your personal or professional creative work.
What We Need
We receive materials and items that are in good condition and can be used “as is” in a creative activity. For example, we can receive a bolt of cloth that dance and theatre people could use for their costumes; plywood or nails that could be used to help build a set or a backdrop; brushes in good condition for painting; a sewing machine; a potters wheel; electric cords; a tape recorder; a household item that could be used as a prop on stage or film; or a desk that a student or artist could use.
Please note: Bricolage is a non-profit organization and can’t buy these items from you as in a consignment store. But you will get a donation receipt and a smile for helping community residents make art.
Currently in the store
Luscious upholstery fabric samples, upholstery tools, watercolor paint sets, cases of used acrylic paints, lots of frames (wood & metal), stretchers, printmaking supplies, papermaking supplies, darkroom equipment (no enlarger though), small prop items such as a telephone and cane, scrap wood & pvc pipes, wood carving tools, wire, plexiglass, a load of old windows, drafting rulers, and lots more. We also have started carrying upcycled art if you’re looking for a unique gift.
